We currently do not have a competitive dance team, but welcome the opportunity if enough interest is shown.

Recital participation is optional, however, we highly encourage all students to be a part of this once a year event! If a student opts out of the recital, they must discontinue classes at the end of March.

Trial Classes and Assessments:

Do you offer trial classes?

Yes we do! We offer a trial class to students who are new to KDS. We charge a $20 fee for the trial class, which can be applied to tuition if the student enrolls.

Interested? Please fill out our registration form. Once you submit it, we'll contact you by email so we can determine together which class would be the best match for your child. Or if you prefer, you can call us at 913-727-1025 to see which class we recommend.

Can I observe a class before enrolling?

You are welcome to watch a class on our lobby monitors, or sign your child up for a trial class. For the safety of our students, we do not let observers in the room during class.

Is there an assessment for new students?

Generally, we can get a good idea of which class level would be a good match for your student as we discuss placement. We can do an assessment for acrobatics before placement is made. An appointment would need to be made to have your child demonstrate a list of skills.

Where can I find class information/details?

Details about each class is listed under the class description.

“This studio is perfect for all abilities. The beginning acrobatic class is structured & my daughter learned a lot of gymnastics skills. She also adores the summer camps & fun day one day camps during the school year. She is always so proud of herself when class is over. I highly recommend Katie’s!”
